HOPE FOR JAPAN

 

We are in such a disastrous situation. The unimaginably severe damages caused by the sudden catastrophehave made me speechless. Please allow me to express my heartfelt sympathy to those affected by this unfortunate disaster. My thoughts and sympathies are with you.

mudef has started a fund-raising campaign called ‘HOPE FOR JAPAN’ to support the emergency relief activities and reconstruction in the area hit by the devastation. I have made a donation to mudef, hoping that I could be of some help to overcome the terrible loss in any way.

I am watching the news reports every day. I just cannot help crying when I see the people in the disaster-stricken areas behaving calmly, caring for and supporting each other, and the rescuers engaging in relief activities with such strong devotion.

What I can do might be little. But I shall seek for any contribution I can make to support those who are suffering from the devastation.

I sincerely hope that all the people affected by the cataclysm recover, and the disaster-stricken areas are reconstructed as soon as possible.
